Welcome to the Paul Lee-Davis Fun Fund website.

Paul's Fun Fund has been set up by Paul's family and is supported by his many friends to honour his memory, his love of life and all things fun.

The Fun Fund aims to honour Paul and to help and support others with conditions similar to his - to live life and have fun despite their illness and hospital treatments.

Throughout his illness Paul had to spend many hours receiving both in-patient and outpatient treatments and attending many ongoing appointments. This is a similar situation for any person who suffers from or has suffered from some sort of blood cancer or disorder.

Precious time with family, loved ones and friends in between treatments and appointments is so important, and Paul loved nothing more than to have fun.

Paul's Fun Fund aims to help young adults between the age of 17-40 who are receiving treatment for any type of  leukaemia or lymphoma at the Haematology unit at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhamptom, to have fun days out, treats or breaks away in between their hospital treatments.

It is difficult for anybody undergoing treatment to have these breaks away or days out so the Fun Fund has been set up with the hope of making life a little easier for those individuals who are in need of fun money.

The fund will also donate to the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. Donations to the ICR will specifically help to support the crucial research programme currently being undertaken by Doctor Claire Dearden and her team of scientists who are studing T-PLL, the rare type of leukaemia that Paul suffered from. This type of leukemia is immensely rare so this research is invaluable. Paul's Fun Fund is pleased to be able to play a role in supporting this vital research.
